Belize is a small country and our gay community is not large enough to support restaurants and bars which cater exclusively to gay patrons. Belizean attitudes towards homosexuality probably reflect that of other good communities around the world - some are fine with it and some aren't. As a whole, we are not judgmental people. We are pretty much abide by "live and let live" and are tolerant of our differences. Gay Belizeans participate in all facets of our society.

Although we do not have gay-specific offerings, there are many places where you will feel absolutely comfortable and we take this opportunity to let you know you are welcomed in Belize.
