PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Because hotel and the other services we book on your behalf have their own
policies for deposits, balance payments, cancellations and refunds, Maya Travel
Services has opted to adhere to their individual requirements, rather than institute
our own overall policy .This will afford both of us a lot more flexibility.
Cancellations and refunds: Most hotels will require payment in full no later
than 30 days prior to arrival. Others ask for it as much as 45 days prior to arrival.
Make sure you are aware of the policy at each hotel and for each tour before making
payments. Assume that each will adhere to their policy. We will do what we can
on your behalf should your plans change, but we can only recover what the hotel
will refund once payments are made.
We suggest you consider travel insurance to cover unforeseen events. The average hotel in Belize has twelve rooms and therefore, they must ensure as far in advance as possible, that each room is booked and fully utilized.
If you have any questions regarding these issues, just ask. Better to be informed in advance, than be disappointed later.
