Long Weekend/Short Holiday- 3 nights/4 days

On the beach in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel. How about a night snorkel?
Day 2-Half day snorkel to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. Golf cart or bike rental to explore the island. Water taxi under the stars, to a special restaurant north of town.
Day 3: Discover diving? You can and dive to 40 feet that same day. Fishing? Kayaking? Sailing? A day trip to the mainland for ruins and wildlife or caving? It's your last day, what?
Day 4: You may have time for a snorkel, some fishing, windsurfing or jet skis before your flight departs. Make the most of your time. Depart.

On the mainland.

From Belize City:
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel. You'll have a nice selection of good restaurants to choose from.
Day 2-Full day snorkel trip to the Belize Barrier Reef. Or a full day river cave tube float?
Day 3-Full day guided tour of Lamanai ruins with a boat tour to see monkeys, crocodiles, manatees and waterbirds.
Day 4-You may have time for a tour of the Belize Zoo, a remarkable facility. Depart

From Cayo:
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel. You'll most likely enjoy a lantern lit dinner under an open air thatched roof palapa.
Day 2-Full day guided tour of Tikal or Caracol ruins or a half day tour of Xunantunich ruins and a canoe paddle downstream to town.
Day 3-Half day guided cave tour and a half day of horseback riding or downstream canoe trip.
Day 4-Return to Belize, stopping off en route to visit the Belize Zoo.

From Placencia:
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in this area.
Day 2-Full day snorkel trip to the reef with picnic lunch on a small coral encrusted island.
Day 3-Full day boat trip up jungle rivers to see howler monkeys, crocs, manatees and waterbirds.
Day 4-An early morning kayak on the lagoon? Depart.

7 nights/8 days

Bush and Beach, Cayo and San Pedro, Ambergris Caye:
Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your Cayo hotel
Day 2-Canoe downstream to town or horseback riding. Half day caving trip.
Day 3-Full day guided tour of Tikal or Caracol ruins.
Day 4-Depart Cayo for return to Belize City (stopping en route to visit the Belize Zoo) and twenty minute flight to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.
Golf cart of bike rental to explore the island?
Day 5-Half day snorkel to Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Rent a jet ski for a few hours?
Day 6-Fishing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfers? What about a night snorkel before dinner?

Cayo District

Day 1-Arrive at International airport and transfer to Cayo, a 90 minute drive from Belize City. Stop en route and visit the Belize Zoo.
Day 2-Canoe downstream to San Ignacio town. Guided tour of Xunantunich ruins.
Day 3-Full day guided tour of Tikal ruins, just across the border in Guatemala.
Day 4-Caving trip, easy to challenging, both full and half day trips.
Day 5-Full day guided tour of Caracol ruins, driving through the Mountain Pine Ridge.
Day 6-Full day horse back ride.
Day 7-Full day of birding.
Day 8-Depart

7 nights/8 days, Placencia

Day 1-Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2-Full day snorkel or scuba to the Belize Barrier Reef with picnic lunch on a small coral encrusted island. Or want to try scuba diving?

Day 2-Half day snorkel or dive on the Belize Barrier Reef. Rent a golf cart or bike and explore the island. Night snorkel or dive before dinner?
Day 3-Jet skis, fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, relaxing?
Day 4-Transfer by air and road to Cayo, stopping off en route to visit the Belize Zoo.
Day 5-Full day guided tour of Tikal or Caracol ruins.
Day 6-Caving, horses, birding?
Day 7-Depart the lodge by canoe and paddle to town to meet your driver and luggage for the drive to Belize City and 40 minute flight to Placencia. Transfer to your hotel.
